No Contact to Display Message in the Sidebar

In some cases, when using the Sidebar feature on LinkedIn, you will encounter the following message:

No Contacts to Display

LinkedIn imposes a daily profile view limit on its users to prevent misuse and to ensure a high-quality user experience. To make sure LeadDelta stays compliant with LinkedIn's TOS, the same limits are imposed in LeadDelta as well. This limit restricts the number of profiles you can update within a 24-hour period. The profile update limit encompasses various actions on LeadDelta, and it's important to understand how it's distributed among these actions.

Auto-Update- When enabled, this feature automatically updates the profiles you've connected with. However, it's essential to note that this feature consumes a significant portion of your daily profile view limit. The system will attempt to update a specific number of profiles within a 24-hour window, which means if you have it enabled, you should be mindful of how many profiles you are viewing manually.

Manual Update- Whenever you manually update your connections, it counts towards this limit. It's important to be cautious while manually updating profiles to ensure you have views available for your networking activities.

Profile Views- Each time you browse a LinkedIn profile, the sidebar will pop up, and that visit will be counted towards your profile view limit, even if you don't add that person to your LeadDelta account. This is an important consideration when you're actively searching for potential connections or researching individuals within your industry.

Adding Profiles to LeadDelta- Adding profiles to LeadDelta is another action that contributes to your profile view limit. Clicking on the "Add to LeadDelta" button counts towards the daily allocation, so it's vital to manage your usage of this feature, especially if you have a substantial number of profiles to add.

The number of profile updates can be found and adjusted under the main settings page, and you can read more about how it works and what are the safe limits here.

In the meantime, to ensure you make the most of your daily profile view limit, here are some tips:

Prioritize Connections: Focus on profiles of individuals who are genuinely relevant to your professional network. This will make your profile views count and increase the chances of meaningful connections.

Disable Auto-Update: If you find that the auto-update feature is consuming most of your limit, consider turning it off, especially when you have specific profiles you want to view manually.

Strategic Browsing: Be strategic in your profile viewing. Prioritize profiles that align with your networking and career objectives, rather than random browsing.

Your LeadDelta team
