How to see Connection Removal progress in LeadDelta

Track the status of contacts you’ve removed from LinkedIn with LeadDelta.


TL;DR


Go to:

  1. Home Page
  2. Click on the "Number of Contacts"
  3. Under the "total removed contacts" you'll see the details...


Here's what it means:

  1. Scheduled contacts for removal...
  2. "Last daily limit" which our machine learning used as your daily max
  3. Status: Active (if actively removing) Inactive (if not actively removing)
  4. Date: of the last removed contacts.



Best practices for faster, smoother processing

  • Keep the LeadDelta Chrome Extension installed and enabled.
  • Stay signed into LinkedIn in the same browser profile.
  • Avoid large simultaneous automations. Run big removal batches when you’re not doing other heavy actions.
  • Use sensible batch sizes. Smaller batches complete more predictably.
  • Respect safety limits. Your workspace may throttle to stay within LinkedIn’s acceptable use.


FAQs

Will the person be notified?

LinkedIn doesn’t send a notification when you remove a connection. They may notice a change (e.g., no longer seeing “1st” on your profile or conversation visibility changes).


Can I undo a removal?

There’s no “undo.” You can send a new connection request on LinkedIn.


Why is the queue stuck on Paused/Rate-limited?

Usually the browser is closed, you’re logged out of LinkedIn, or LinkedIn asked us to slow down temporarily. Re-open Chrome, sign into LinkedIn, and give it time—LeadDelta will resume automatically.


Do my notes/tags in LeadDelta get deleted?

Removing a LinkedIn connection does not automatically delete your LeadDelta records. Your workspace can manage contact data retention separately.


Can I export a report of removals?

Yes. Go to Contacts → Filters → Auto-tags/removed and use Export CSV (admins only).


Troubleshooting checklist

  • ✅ Chrome Extension installed, enabled, up to date
  • ✅ Logged into LinkedIn in the same Chrome profile
  • ✅ No VPN/Ad-blocker interfering with LinkedIn requests
  • ✅ Reasonable batch size and workspace safety limits respected
  • ✅ If many failures: open an item → View error and follow the suggested fix
