How to Connect Claude AI to Your LinkedIn Connections Using LeadDelta

By connecting Claude AI to LeadDelta, you can simply ask what you need in plain language and get answers instantly — find contacts by role, company, location, tags, or any combination. Pair it with other Claude connectors to research, draft outreach, and build lists without ever leaving your chat window.


What You Need Before You Start

  • LeadDelta Business Plan — required to enable the MCP integration
  • Claude account — the free plan supports 1 custom connector; all paid plans allow unlimited connectors
  • LeadDelta API key — generated from the Integrations tab inside LeadDelta (takes under a minute). Get it here: https://app.leaddelta.com/integrations.


Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1 — Log in to Claude

Go to claude.ai and sign in to your account.


Step 2 — Open Connections settings

Navigate to Customize → Connections, or click here to go directly.


Step 3 — Add a custom connector

Click the (+) button to create a new custom MCP connector.


Step 4 — Name the connector

In the Name field, type: LeadDelta


Step 5 — Enter the MCP server URL

In the Remote MCP Server URL field, paste:

https://mcp.leaddelta.com/mcp/


Step 6 — Click Add

Save the connector by clicking Add. Claude will connect to the LeadDelta MCP server.


Step 7 — Authorize your LeadDelta account

You'll be prompted to connect your LeadDelta account. Follow the on-screen setup flow.

If you need an API key: inside LeadDelta, go to the Integrations tab (last tab in the main navigation) → click Generate API Key → copy the key and paste it back into Claude when prompted.


Once authorized, the connector will show as active. ✅

Not necessarily. The free Claude plan includes one custom connector slot, so you can connect LeadDelta without upgrading — as long as you haven't already used that slot for something else. All Claude paid plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) allow unlimited custom connectors.


Which LeadDelta plan is required?

You need the LeadDelta Business Plan. The MCP endpoint is only enabled for Business plan accounts.


Is my LinkedIn data safe when using this integration?

Yes. Claude connects to LeadDelta via your personal API key over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Your LinkedIn data stays within your LeadDelta workspace — Claude reads it on demand and does not store it independently. You can revoke the API key at any time from the LeadDelta Integrations tab.


How do I generate a LeadDelta API key?

In LeadDelta, go to the Integrations tab (last tab in the main navigation) → click Generate API Key → copy and use it when Claude prompts you to authenticate.


What if the connector shows an error after setup?

Double-check that the MCP URL is entered exactly as https://mcp.leaddelta.com/mcp/ (note the trailing slash). Confirm your LeadDelta account is on the Business plan and that your API key has not been revoked. If issues persist, contact support@leaddelta.com.
